Meet the Artist…

Sydney Seezox is a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist based in Butler, PA and serves the Pittsburgh area. Her first experience working in the beauty and fashion industry was in 2014 working backstage at New York Fashion Week. There she trained with Aveda at their New York Advanced Academy, learning the latest techniques and earning a certificate in runway makeup. She worked for shows such as Michael Costello, Leanne Marshall, Emmanuel Acosta, Isabelle Barrett, Highland, and Ovadia & Sons. While studying fashion design at Kent State University, she collaborated with her colleagues as the makeup artist for their photoshoots (as well as her own). Most recently she has received another certificate while training with celebrity makeup artist Priscilla Ono in Los Angeles, where she learned the latest techniques in editorial, red carpet, and formal event makeup. Sydney enjoys all types of makeup application, from runway to editorial to bridal to formal event, she loves doing it all.

Sydney did my makeup for my wedding day. She did multiple trials with my makeup as I was unsure of what exactly I wanted for my look on the big day. Sydney incorporated makeup styles that I liked and listened to what features I wanted emphasized. I made a point to ask for my freckles to show, and she made it happen while still making my skin look flawless and glowy (just what I asked for!) She created a look for me that brought actual tears to my eyes when she was done because she made me feel truly beautiful! Sydney is extremely professional, patient, listens to her customers, and a joy to be around! Sydney is an extreme talent and a pleasure to work with. I recommend her to ALL of my friends and family.
